God’s answer:

That’s their side of the story.
I did not punish them. They lost their faith in Me.

God’s answer:

A bindle

They ran away from home because I burst their bubble.

Meaning: They left without saying goodbye.

To burst someone’s bubble means "to destroy someone's illusion or delusion; to destroy someone's fantasy"⁹.
